A few years ago, I got the chance to see my super amazing sister-in-law Aimee graduate with her PhD in social work from Columbia University in NY. I also got to meet her very close friend Maura McGurk, a very talented artist whose "current body of work deals with equality and issues related to gay rights." Lucas Painting. 16 x 20"

I recently almost finished this Lucas painting, I had some last final touches to fix, but when I got home the other night Andrew had already taken it off the easel and had it hanging on the wall next to our Lucas Etching. As much as I think it could use a few things, I'm ok with it and declaring it finished. Also, really excited about having a "Lucas corner."
