Happy Friday!

I used an old fashioned chocolate chip cookie recipe that called for shortening (as well as butter), and used peanut butter chips instead of chocolate chips. Shortening is probably the worst thing for you, but it makes the cookies ten times better! I've already had way too many, I keep breaking off pieces every time I go into the kitchen. Last Saturday, my mom and I made too many batches of cookies, some chocolate chip and the rest oatmeal-cranberry-pecan, and they were all really sweet and perfect. There's nothing like baking till Saturday Night Live comes on for no particular reason with your mom. We ended up with so many that the plan was to take the cookies to work and spread them out, but instead I have personally been eating them for about 5 days straight, oops (darn weather).

I just ate this.
