Um, the Saint has really fantastic cocktails and food.

You should go there.

I recommend the cucumber cocktail, it's cucumber, lemon, gin, and cassis, with a dash of house-made agave syrup and the fish taco entree with rice and beans, so good!

Bottom-Shelf Photo Quality, Oddfellows and a Show.

I do want to apologize for my low-rent photos, I only had my small camera on me, which I now know doesn't cut it, sheesh! Never again, but I did have a lovely night, and these photos sort of display that. First, we went to Oddfellows, which is superb for fabulous food, drinks and atmosphere, followed by an "evening meetings" show at the Chop Suey, and then completing the night with cupcakes from Cupcake Royale.

Making a 'Sandwich' with your cupcake is easy, simply take the top off and turn it over, it's more satisfying and ensures frosting in every bite.

All-Lady Happy Hour.

Happy Hour.Radical Ring. Happy Hour. All-lady Happy Hour. Happy Hour. Spread. All-Lady Happy Hour. Happy Hour. Happy Hour.-0075 Happy Hour. Happy Hour. Ladies. Happy Hour. Happy Hour. Best plates. Happy Hour. Katie.Happy Hour. Kool kat tat.

There really isn't a better way to start off the summer, other than having an 'All-lady Happy Hour' held on the first hottest day of the year, hosted by two lovely and talented ladies, Kari Pearson and Laura Cassidy. Being among so many creative and talented women (make-up artists, designers, photographers, etc.), was very empowering, sort of how you feel when at a Le Tigre show or when... I don't know. Anyway, I think more and more ladies should do this as much as possible. It was a gorgeous home, there were really delicious dishes and the drink of the night was a 'French-75,' completely perfect and refreshing.

French 75

3 ounces gin

3 ounces fresh lemon juice

4 teaspoons superfine granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups ice cubes

1 cup chilled champagne
