Weekend.

I just love cozy kitchens, here are some that I wouldn't mind swapping out for my own. I'll be distracted, thinking of ways to improve our ours, while trying to do homework today. Glad it's raining outside. Oh! So tonight, we're going to Jazz Alley to see Madeleine Peyroux, she sounds like Billie Holiday, I'm really excited!

Packaging Class.

I had an excellent class today, it's my favorite one this quarter.
Today, my instructor talked about the importance and impact a great package can have upon someone, one that may even cause emotional reaction and delve deep into the psyche (which may explain my love for cheetos). A great example of a superb package would be that of the Vatican City, which I was so fortunate to have visited over this last Spring Break, where all of the great artists such as Bernini, Rafael, and Michaelangelo created magnificent pieces of art to house all of the stolen objects they've acquired over the centuries. It's within this great package that they are able to sell their product, after all, the interior must be as good as the exterior, right?

Anyway, after much thought, my new soda is going to be called ANVIL cola and will be targeted to young men ages 15-25.


P.S. I ordered CS5 yesterday!!!!!!! I cannot wait!!!!!!

"lucas" by ME.. After-Effects Newbie.

A few of us from class started a new club that will happen every Monday where we will get together and learn Adobe After Effects. Here is a small video from my first day. Super cheesy, should be getting better soon.

Back to School!

After a wonderful spring break trip to Italy, I am back in the swing of things, which feels nice. But before I get super busy again, I'd like to share some photos and a video that pretty much sums up what we did the majority of the trip: Climb stairs, walk (everywhere), and hike. We went to Rome and Cinque Terre, which is the most beautiful place I've ever been to, I recommend everyone go there atleast once in their lifetime. For more photos check out my flickr

Hardwood Floors under Laminate???

Who would ever do that?!
We never thought that anyone would EVER cover hardwood floors, so this was the best surprise in the world when we ripped up the closet to findout. WHen it was true, we ripped the rest of the laminate up in the office and living rooms in less than 4 hours (mostly Andrew). It looks so much better, right?? We love it.

P.S. Lucas is huge.
